Batak Hire is perfect for exhibition stand games, roadshow activations, conference activities and all sports event promotions. Batak Hire comes in two versions: Batak Pro Hire and Batak Lite Hire. Here we will explain the concept of Batak Hire and the differences between the two options.
The Batak unit consists of a polished steel frame with several targets specifically located around the frame. There are a wide range of programmes that can be selected, but here we will explain the principal of the Accumulator (which is relevant for Batak Pro Hire and Batak Lite Hire). After the start button is pressed, one of the targets will be illuminated by the bright LED bulb. The aim of the game is to ‘hit’ the target as soon as it lights up. Once it has been hit another bulb will illuminate. With a completely random configuration of lit bulbs, players must get as many ‘hits as they can in the given time period.
The game is governed by the players reaction speeds. As soon as one target is struck the next one will illuminate, so the quicker they are hit, the faster the game goes and the higher the scores. With a LED display showing the players score and a LED display showing the time of the game in seconds, once the time is complete the Batak will deliver and audible instruction saying, ‘Game Over’. Both Batak Pro Hire and Batak Lite Hire are upright units. This has the advantage over other tabletop games that the Bataks are clearly visible for spectators. Both are games that look so simple from afar, but once players participate, they realise that to get to the top of the leaderboard is quite a challenge. Batak Hire is a quick-fire game, that is so addictive. Many of your guests or delegates will return time and time again to climb the scoreboard or beat their personal best.
The main difference between Batak Pro Hire and Batak Lite Hire is the size of the units. Batak Pro measures 2,000mm wide x 2,100mm high x 950mm deep, whilst the Batak Lite measures 1,150mm wide x 1,750mm high x 950mm deep. You will need to add on an additional 1,000mm to the depth for the playing area. Batak Pro Hire has 12 targets compared to Batak Lite Hire with 8 targets. Along with more targets and a wider frame, the Batak Pro will prove to be a challenge to those with the smartest of reflexes.
Batak Lite Hire is perfect for exhibition stands or venues with limited space, whereas if space is not a concern, then the Batak Pro will be the one for you.

Both can be set to Exhibition Mode, whereby a single press of a button will start the game for the next player. The Batak Pro, despite being larger has the option to disable levels of targets. The top row and the middle row can be disabled and taken out of play. Perfect for smaller children and great for inclusivity of the activity for those with accessibility issues.
