The Pedal Power Tower Challenge is an activity where the players have to light up the LED towers using pedal power. Either as a standalone unit, where players race against the clock or with 2 units allowing players to go head to head. The bikes are perfectly calibrated offering the same user resistance on each unit.
Once the 3-2-1 countdown display has started the race, players need to pedal powered to increase the bars on the 2m LED displays. With their times being recorded on the digital timing displays as soon as one player reaches the top the timer stops. We supply a Top Gear style leader board as standard to record the player’s times.
Alternatively, we are able to display the amount of power being produced. This will vary throughout the race with players having been known to peak at over 600 watts. They can then clearly see how difficult it is for the average player to sustain such an output.
