Based on the same principals as the draughts table board game. Players load their 12 draughts onto the board. They can only move forwards diagonally. The aim is to capture all of your opponents pieces. Black always goes first. The draughts can only move diagonally. To take an opponent’s piece there must be an empty space behind it. The draught will hop over the piece and the players removes the captured draught from the playing area.
If a draught reaches the opponents side of the board it becomes a King. Kings can move diagonally forwards and backwards giving them an advantage. The King can still be taken by a standard draught. Once one player has collected all their opponents pieces they are the winner. A classic and simple game easy for even the younger children to play.
