Giant Ludo Hire is a game that can be played as a team or as individuals using the giant foam playing counters and giant dice. With either two or four contestants our Giant Ludo really does capture the fun and entertainment of this classic table top game.
The same rules apply to Giant Ludo Hire as the table top version. Players roll the dice with the highest score going first. They have 4 markers and the aim is to get them all into their coloured home position before their opponents. A player must roll a 6 to bring any of their markers into play. Once in play they aim is to move the marker around the board to the top.
If a players piece lands on that of an opponent, the opponents piece has to return to the start and they must throw another six to resume. If a players piece lands on the position occupied by one of their own pieces, this square becomes blocked and their opponents pieces cannot pass. Players pieces can only get to their home triangle with an exact roll. Once all 4 pieces are in the home triangle, that player is the winner. The others will continue to play to see who gets the runners up positions.
Giant Ludo is a fun and engaging garden game for all ages. Multi generations can all play Giant Ludo and it is a great chance to teach the younger children the rules. It is an exciting game, determined solely by the numbers rolled on the dice.
